Choose your helicopter

Five aircraft trade passenger space, firepower and handling. Choose in the Hangar before starting a mission.

These are maximum loads. The guns have different damage and firing rates, so round counts alone do not measure firepower.

Viper · AH-64

The original gunship. Full missile racks and a fast chain gun; three passenger seats mean more rescue trips.

Choose Viper when destroying defended targets matters more than carrying a large rescue group in one trip.

Mule · CH-47

Seven seats, tandem rotors and a tough hull. A light nose gun and small missile racks demand careful approaches.

Mule reduces trips to the landing zone on rescue missions. Its heavier handling and limited weapons make clearing the pickup area before landing especially useful.

Kestrel · UH-60

Five seats with a useful mix of rockets, guided missiles and armour. A steady choice for mixed combat and rescue missions.

Choose Kestrel if you want extra cabin space while keeping enough weapons for a varied mission.

Hammer · AH-24

High-explosive cannon shells punish clustered troops and vehicles. Fewer missiles, a slower gun and a heavy airframe trade agility for impact. Keep blasts away from civilians.

Hammer suits groups of enemies behind cover. Make room between your targets and rescue passengers before opening fire.

Wasp · MH-9

Fast turns, a quick winch and long endurance suit reconnaissance and urgent rescues. Light armour and only two seats leave little room for mistakes.

Use Wasp for quick approaches and reconnaissance. Plan frequent drop-offs when the objective requires several passengers.
